Digital Nomad Careers in 2021
My research on the phenomenon of digital nomadism has started from my own experience. I actually haven’t anticipated discovering the whole new and fascinating world that opened to me. My study covered a few sides of digital nomadism, but here I will open up the first thing I have discovered – The Digital Nomad Career Opportunities. (Other interesting facts to follow).
Here is my list of possible Digital Nomad Careers in 2021.
Despite the fact I knew a few diginomads personally, I didn’t acknowledge it was such a widespread phenomenon. While not all the diginomads are travelling 24/7 and changing countries more often than shirts, most of them are involved in travelling and working remotely. Otherwise it would be a vacation. It was really fascinating to find myself a part of the diginomad community.
There are many occupations associated with traveling, and not all of them are digital and immaterial. There are numerous alternatives to travel the world. Even during the economic crisis and the corona pandemics.
Here are the results of my research inthe field of nomad professions. They all give the opportunity to see the world, from different side, anyway.
Obviously, it turned out that the list is quite long.

Apparently, some professions are certainly missing from this list. Sure, there are professions I have never heard of. New industries constantly come up, so new professions appear constantly. This process only speeds up. Life is moving forward creating new challenges, and they need to be solved.
A couple of decades earlier, when I had to make my career choices, most of today’s professions did not exist at all. We studied Programming on DOS platform, Internet was just an idea and we scratched our diaries on paper.
Apparently, a lot of traditionally location-dependent jobs are currently moving into remote mode. Technology allows us to go remote in many industries. However, the greatest reason for the current change is in the mindset. More and more often an individual craves to break out of the traditional work model to obtain more freedom in location, workload and layout. Actually, going remote can also solve a lot of ecological problems of the overpopulated world. As well, it is an effective way to prevent the spread of contagious diseases like COVID-19.
Currently, becoming a remote worker or digital nomad is only hampered by the lack of uniform legislation, while the existence of all necessary technology and infrastructure easily allows the new working layout.
